FAQS

Getting Started

How do I get started?
We begin with a 30-minute meet & greet so we can get to know your pup, learn their routines, and make sure we’re the right fit.

What’s the first step?
Reach out through our form and we’ll follow up to schedule a call or meet & greet.

How far in advance should I book?
For regular adventure or walk schedules, 1–2 weeks is usually enough. For weddings, holidays, and overnight care, 3 months in advance is best.

Do you offer meet & greets?
Yes, we don’t take on pups without meeting them first.

Fit & Temperament

How do I know if my pup is a good fit?
We work best with pups who are social, enjoy movement, and are comfortable riding in a vehicle. We’ll assess this during your meet & greet.

Do you work with reactive or aggressive dogs?
For safety and group dynamics, we do not take pups with active aggression. Mild reactivity depends on context and can be discussed during meet & greet.

Do you work with anxious or shy pups?
Yes, as long as they are safe in a group and car environment. Some shy pups thrive once they trust the routine.

Do you take puppies or seniors?
Yes, we tailor care to age and ability. Puppies may need solo time or smaller group structure; seniors may need slower pacing or shorter outings.

Do you take working breeds?
Yes, high-drive dogs often do exceptionally well with structured movement and enrichment.

Adventures & Walks

What is a “dog adventure”?
Adventures are longer, more enriching outings, often involving beach trails, open spaces, or coastal terrain, designed to fulfill dogs physically and mentally.

Where do you go?
We frequent beaches, trails, and open spaces in Laguna Beach, Dana Point, San Clemente, and surrounding coastal areas. Exact locations vary based on weather, group, and terrain.

How long are adventures vs walks?
Adventures typically run longer and involve trail time and exploration. Walks are shorter, more neighborhood-based, and good for routine.

How many pups go at once?
Small groups, intentionally. Group size varies by outing, but stays small enough for true supervision and safety.

Do pups ride in the Volkswagens?
Mostly, yes. It’s part of the rhythm of the day. If heat, mechanical issues, or safety suggest otherwise, we adjust.

Do pups get dirty?
Sometimes, especially at the beach or on trails. We do wipe-downs when needed, but these are true outdoor adventures, dirt comes with the joy.

Safety & Care

What happens if it’s hot?
We adjust. Outings may shift to shaded trails, early call-times, water play, or shortened routes. Weather always takes priority.

Do you monitor the group?
Yes, group dynamics, pacing, social behavior, and stress cues are monitored throughout the outing.

Do you give pups water and breaks?
Always. Hydration, shade, pacing, and rest are built into the day.

Do you communicate after outings?
Yes, photo updates and quick notes help you know how the outing went.

What if something seems off with my pup?
We’ll tell you. We believe in transparent communication about behavior, health, or anything unusual.

Wedding Care

Can my dog be part of my wedding day?
Yes! It’s one of our favorite offerings. We handle the logistics so your pup can be present for photos, ceremony, or the entire weekend without creating stress for the couple or the planner.

Do you work with wedding planners and photographers?
Yes, we coordinate with the wedding team to integrate your pup into the timeline smoothly.

Do you offer overnight care for wedding weekends?
Yes, overnight and extended weekend care is available depending on schedule and fit.

How early should we book?
As early as possible, especially for peak seasons. Planners typically reach out 3–9 months ahead.

Pet Sitting

Do you offer day and overnight sitting?
Yes, both are available depending on availability and fit.

Do you stay in our home or yours?
Overnight care happens in your home so pups can stay comfortable in their routine.
